Areas of Practice in Nigeria: Healthcare Social Work: Supporting patients and families in hospitals, addressing emotional and practical needs, and connecting them to resources like palliative care or mental health services. Child Welfare and Family Services: Protecting vulnerable children, facilitating adoptions, and supporting families to create safe, nurturing environments.
